Admission of Graduate Courses (Master's and Ph.D) for International Students

Applicants for the Department of Physics must submit GRE (Graduate Record Examination) score reports of the Subject Test (P.77-Physics).  About the GRE Subject Tests / Physics
It is not necessary to submit score records of the General Test.
Applicants who wish to study Biophysics can submit score reports of the Subject Test (B22-Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology) in addition to the above score reports.

All applicants are required to submit a short essay on their individual field of interest to study, academic and scientific achievements, and any research experience.

Applicants for the Department of Physics should contact the potential supervisor well before applying by e-mail.

*Scholarship: Ph.D students, including those without Japanese nationality,
 may be employed as Research Aassociates.
