Admission of Graduate Courses (Master's and Ph.D)
for International Students


Applicants to the Department of Physics must submit GRE (Graduate Record Examination) score reports of the Subject Test (P.77-Physics). It is not necessary to submit score records of the General Test. Applicants who wish to study Biophysics can submit score reports of the Subject Test (B22-Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology) in addition to the above score reports.

All applicants are required to submit a short essay on your interests of study, academic and scientific achievements, and any research experience.

Applicants to the Department of Physics should contact the potential supervisor well before the application.

*Scholarship: Ph.D students, including those without Japanese nationality,
         may be employed as Research Aassociates. (Foreign students
         must have proper qualify for this purpose)
