Overview:
We study finite many-body systems ranging from quarks to nuclei. Some exotic nuclei created with an excess of protons or neutrons exhibit properties that would change a conventional paradigm based on studies of stable nuclei. Also, the role played by quark correlations inside of protons, neutrons, and hadronic matter in general, is not fully understood yet. We make use of large-scale computers for a numerical approach and develop analytical methods to tackle these challenging problems, pursuing for new methodologies.
