7. Job Description:
Research Field: Experimental Particle Physics
The successful candidate will be expected to promote experimental research in flavor physics using particle accelerators. In addition, they should actively engage in the development of advanced accelerator or detector technologies and their application to particle physics experiments, thereby contributing to new directions in the field and to future-oriented research on cutting-edge technologies. The candidate will lead an independent research group as a PI and, in collaboration with faculty members in the Department of Physics, will be responsible for teaching and supervising students in both the undergraduate and the graduate programs.

8. Working Hours:
If the employee agrees to the application of the discretionary work system for specialized work, working hours will be deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes per day.
If the employee does not agree, the discretionary work system for professional work is not applied and, in principle, working hours shall be 7 hours and 45 minutes per day.
9. Days off:
Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and the year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3)
10. Leave:
Annual Paid Leave, Special Leave, etc.
11. Salary, etc.:
Determined based on academic background, work experience, etc., with a system for salary increases.
Allowances: Year-end and diligence allowances (twice a year), commuting allowance (up to ¥55,000 per month if requirements are met), and others as specified by the university.
12. Social Insurance:
Automatically enrolled in the insurance from the Mutual Aid Association of MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) and Employment Insurance.

Holder of a PhD degree
