| 【要旨】
The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), located in southern China, is the world’s largest underground liquid scintillator–based neutrino experiment. Its primary physics goal is the precise measurement of neutrino oscillation parameters and the determination of the neutrino mass ordering through observations of antineutrinos from nuclear reactors. The JUNO central detector consists of a 20-kiloton liquid scintillator target instrumented with more than 17,000 20-inch and over 25,000 3-inch photomultiplier tubes, providing unprecedented photon detection coverage and energy resolution. Following more than a decade of continuous construction and commissioning efforts, JUNO began physics data taking in August 2025. In this presentation, I will introduce neutrino oscillations, as well as the neutrino detection principle of JUNO, summarize the initial detector performance, and present the first measurement results of reactor neutrino oscillations obtained with early data. |
