1. 募集の内容 Recruitment Details

理学系研究科物理学専攻での研究を推進するRAを募集する。
This is to announce the recruitment of RA in order to promote researches in the Department of Physics,
Graduate School of Science.

2. 募集の対象 Eligible Students for the Recruitment

2021年4月1日現在，東京大学大学院理学系研究科物理学専攻の博士課程に在学する学生。

※　リーディング大学院プログラム奨励金受給者、日本学術振興会特別研究員、国費留学生、
グローバルサイエンスコース生、これらと同等またはそれ以上の給与奨学金を受給される場合は応募できない。
また、高エネルギー加速器研究機構、宇宙科学研究所所属の学生は物理RAの応募はできない
（理学系RA、博士課程研究遂行協力制度には応募可能）。
休学中は給与は支給されない。
Those students who are enrolled in the doctoral course of the Department of Physics,
Graduate School of Science, the University of Tokyo as of April 1st, 2021.
※ Students of the Leading Graduate Courses, JSPS DC-fellows, Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Students, GSGC Students, and those who receive any scholarship similar to or better than these grants are not eligible to apply. Students belonging to High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) can not apply for the Physics RA. (They can apply for the RA for the University of Tokyo Grants for PhD Research and the RA for School of Science Grants for PhD Students.) Allowance is not paid during a leave of absence from university.

3. 採用期間および給与 Appointment Period and Allowance

2021年6月1日 から 2022年3月31日 まで
From June 1st, 2021 To March 31st, 2022.
月額支給　20,000円程度 (6月分は 40,000円）※1, ※2, ※3
Monthly Payment: approx. JPY 20,000 (JPY 40,000 for June) ※1, ※2, ※3

※1　本給与は税法上「給与所得」の取扱いとなり、他に所得がある場合は額によって確定申告が必要になることがあります。 また年間収入（1－12月）が一定額を超過すると、被扶養者からはずれて扶養者が扶養控除を受けられなくなる場合や、健康保険料を払うことになる場合があるので、注意すること。なお、税金や保険に関しては物理事務は個別の問い合わせには応じません。
※2　本制度は、東京大学博士課程研究遂行協力制度および理学系研究科博士課程学生支援制度RAとの重複が可能である。
※3　本制度は、物理学専攻に属する物理学教室および関連部局の予算の援助の下、実施している。
※1 This income is regarded as “earned income”. Therefore, if you have other incomes, you may need to declare it for income tax return depending upon the total amount of your income. Moreover, in case your annual income (January to December) exceeds certain amount, you may be excluded from the category of a dependent and thus the supporter of your family will not be entitled to tax deduction, and you may need to pay the health insurance premium. Therefore, please pay a close attention to the total annual income. The Physics Department Office will not respond to any individual inquiry about the tax and the insurance.
※2 The applicants for this RA can apply for other RA (RA for The University of Tokyo Grants for PhD Research and the RA for School of Science Grants for PhD Students) within the same academic year.
※3 This program is implemented under the budget of the related sections and of the laboratories belonging to the Department of Physics.

(2) 履歴書※（本人署名、顔写真は不要）

(4) 指導教員に推薦を依頼し、以下の内容をメール本文に記入の上、

 　(i) 教員名、(ii) 推薦する学生の氏名、(iii) 学生の研究課題名、(iv) 物理学専攻RAヘの推薦の可否
(5) 給与の口座振込申出書
(6) 扶養控除等（異動）申告書
(7) マイナンバーの書類 以下の３点を封筒に厳封で提出。封筒の表面に学籍番号および氏名を記載すること。
　(i) マイナンバーのコピー、
　(ii) 学生証のコピー、
　(iii) マイナンバー利用同意書兼届出書（所定様式）

(yes / no)
(5) Bank Account Information
(6) Declaration of Dependents' Exemption for Salary Earners
(7) “My Number (National Identification Card)” documents: Enclose the following three documents in an envelope, with your name and student ID number on it, and seal it up．
　(i) A copy of “My Number Notification Card”, or a copy of a certificate on which “My Number” is specified, such as a certificate of residence, etc.
　(ii) A copy of Student ID Card.
　(iii) Letter of Consent for a use of “My Number” and/or Application for My Number.

6. 提出先 Submission

(1),(2),(3),(5) については書類（PDFにせずにExcelのまま）をメール添付の上、
物理学専攻事務室 jimu-phys.s@gs.mail.u-tokyo.ac.jp まで送ること。
（捺印は不要。）

7. 選考方法
Selection Method

本プログラムにより設置する選考委員会において採用者の選考を行う。
The selection of applicants to be recruited shall be conducted by the Selection Committee established by this program.

8. 採用者決定の時期と通知
Decision and Notification of Recruitment

採用者の決定及び通知は、2021年6月初めに申請書記載のメールアドレスへ通知しました。万が一通知がない場合は博士支援担当 (jimu-phys.s@gs.mail.u-tokyo.ac.jp ) までご連絡下さい。
The announcement will be made to all applicants by the end of June, 2021. In case you do not receive any notification email, please contact the RA section (jimu-phys.s@gs.mail.u-tokyo.ac.jp ).

9. 研究報告
Research Report

採用者は年度末に研究報告書を作成し、物理学専攻事務室に提出すること。書式、提出先、提出期限については後日連絡する。
The recruited students are required to write a research report and submit it to the Physics Department Office at the end of the fiscal year. Details will be announced later.
