令和3年度学生表彰“東京大学総長賞（学業部門）および理学系研究科研究奨励賞”の候補者を募集いたします。
We are calling for candidate students for the "University of Tokyo President’s Award" and the "School of Science Encouragement Award" in the Student Commendation in AY2021.

＜選考について/ Selection procedure＞
物理学専攻から、研究科奨励賞候補者として修士課程及び博士課程それぞれ若干名（昨年度は修士課程4名、博士課程6名）を選出し、各課程そのうちの1名を、総長賞候補者として理学系研究科に推薦します。
理学系研究科では、各専攻から推薦された候補者のうち、修士課程1名、博士課程1名を総長賞候補として選出します。

Several students from the Master’s and Doctoral courses are selected as the candidates of the Dept. of Physics for the School of Science Encouragement Award.  (Last year four Master students and six Doctoral students were selected.)  One of each course is recommended to the Graduate School of Science as the candidate for the President’s Award.  The Graduate School of Science eventually selects one Master and one Doctoral student as the candidates for the President’s Award from the recommended students from all Departments.

専攻内の奨励賞・総長賞候補者選考にあたり、2月9日（水）に面接を行います。
面接対象者には２月７日に連絡をいたします。
専攻の総長賞候補となった学生は、研究科内の総長賞候補者選考にあたって、2月16日（水）に面接を行います。

The candidate students for the Encouragement and President’s Awards are going to have an interview on Wednesday, 9 February.  We will announce the candidates about the interview by email on 7 February.  Another interview will take place on Wednesday, 16 February if you are selected as the candidate of the Dept. of Physics for the President’s Award.
