修士課程学生支援制度（理学系（修士卓越）ＲＡ）の委嘱者を募集します。
2025-2026年度_理学修士卓越RA募集要項

（委嘱対象者）
・2024 年 10 月に本研究科修士課程に入学し、在学する者で、博士進学を目指す者。
・2025 年 4 月に本研究科修士課程に入学し、在学する者で、博士進学を目指す者。
日本学術振興会特別研究員-DC1 に申請予定であることを条件とする。
ただし、休学者、国費留学生（台湾交流協会奨学金含）、リーディング大学院及び国際卓越大学院教育
プログラム奨励金等（GSGC 含）受給者、他からの経済支援受給者のうち年間総額 100 万円を超えて受給している学生を除く。

（委嘱期間）
2024 年 10 月入学者は 2026 年 1 月から 2026 年 8 月までの連続した 8 ヶ月間とする。
2025 年 4 月入学者は 2026 年 1 月から 2027 年 2 月までの連続した 14 ヶ月間とする。
委嘱開始日は月の初日（1 日）とする。

（単価・募集人数）
月額 40,000 円、理学系全体で 35 名程度とする。

手続き方法

初めてTAシステムを利用する方は、修士卓越RA申請・口座登録等はWeb申請となります。
TARAシステムから利用登録を行ってください。
個人情報登録（口座登録他）後、の入力送信後、登録したメールアドレスに届く仮パスワードでログインしてください。（TA等で既にシステムを利用している場合は、すぐにTARAシステムにログインできます。）ユーザーIDとPWでTARAシステムにログインしてください。

1）TARAシステムへの利用登録

RA申請・口座登録等は、TARAシステムからWeb申請となります。
初めてTAシステムを利用する方は、TARAシステムから「利用登録」を行い、利用登録の入力送信後、登録したメールアドレス（ただしフリーメール不可）に届く仮パスワードで改めてログインしてください。

昨年度以前にTARAシステムへ利用登録いただいた方へ

学年の変更

新年度の学年に変更してください。
変更方法：マイページ＞「学生支援-基本情報の管理」＞「学歴の確認・編集」

学生証番号の変更

学生証番号を新しいものに変更してください。

2025-2026年度_理学修士卓越RA募集要項 (in Japanese only)

<<Eligible students>>
-Those who were enrolled in the Master's course in October 2024 and are aiming to go on to the Doctoral course
-Those who were enrolled in the Master's course in April 2025 and are aiming to go on to the Doctoral course

Applicants must be planning to apply for the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC1).

However, those who are on a leave of absence, recipients of MEXT scholarships (including the Taiwan Exchange Association Scholarship),  Global Science Graduate Course (GSGC) grants, or recipients of financial support from other sources who receive more than 1 million JPY in total per year, cannot apply.

[Delegation period]
October-2024 enrolled students: 1 Jan 2026 - 31 Aug 2026 (8 months)
April-2025 enrolled students: 1 Jan 2026 - 28 February 2027 (14 months)

1) You may apply for this system even if you are receiving a tuition fee exemption, other scholarships, a teaching assistant (TA) payment, or other financial support.

In this case, please be sure to correctly enter the name of the program(s) you are receiving financial support from, the organisation, the amount you are currently receiving or the amount you are scheduled to receive each month, and the period you are scheduled to receive the support, in the relevant sections of the application form. Selection in the department will be carried out based on the information in the application form. If necessary, we may contact the applicant or their academic advisor for more details.

2-1) If you lose your eligibility for this program or if you stop the research work for personal reasons, please inform us immediately. If there are any problems with the progress or manner of the research, we may change the content or cancel the commission in the middle of the commission period. Even in this case, you must promptly submit the Research Work Completion Report (Form 2) to the office of the department to which you belong.

2-2) If you were appointed to the program but did not apply for the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC1), it will be treated as a loss of eligibility before the end of the commission period. You need to report promptly before the DC1 application deadline of the Graduate School of Science.

3) The RA payment (monthly) is treated as ‘salary income’ for tax purposes. If you have other income, you must comply with the necessary procedures, such as filing a final tax return.

4) If you have income from other sources, such as RA or TA, and your annual income exceeds a certain amount, you may not be eligible for a tax exemption for dependents under the Income Tax Act, or you may be removed from your parent's health insurance as a dependent.

Other) This program is run by donations and sponsorship from individuals and corporations to the Graduate School of Science, based on the expenditure policy decided by the Graduate School of Science and Faculty of Science Donations Management Committee.

An initial password will automatically be sent to the registered address after entering your personal information. If you have already registered before, please sign in with your current ID and PW.

Applicants will be screened by the Evaluation Committees in the Dept.

<<Decision and notification>>
Decision is going to be announced in December or later. A commission notification will be issued to the appointee.

<<Payment of unit price(monthly) >>
The payment will be made in the following month of the research starting from January 2026

<<Report>>
The appointee must submit a report on the work of the Research Assistant for Excellence (Form 2) https://tara.adm.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp/ and submit it to the office of their department by Friday, 5 March 2027.
Those who enrolled in October 2024 must submit the report by Friday, 4 September 2026.
